Twice Baked Potato Pie and Minced Meat

Hello beautiful friends. We would be sharing a new recipe we played with, potatoes, minced meat and vegetables. It was a really delicious meal and even better the day after. It is a twist to Shepard pie, a yummy twist if i may add...Wink


  • potatoes
  • minced meat
  • cheddar cheese grated
  • onions chopper
  • bacon boiled and diced
  • spring onions diced
  • tomatoes diced
  • dried sage leaves
  • egg
  • breadcrumbs
  • salt
  • pepper
  • ketchup
  • garlic

Lets Cook
1. Boil the potatoes add some garlic gloves in it. When it is cooked, drain the water and mash the potatoes with the garlic (you may add butter, milk, nutmeg and black pepper if you wish, i did to mine but it is optional).
2. Turn your oven and set to 180c/350f.
3. In a bowl mix the minced meat, onions, grated garlic, ketchup, breadcrumbs, egg, sage, salt and pepper until well blended.
4. Spred the mixed meat mixture into an ungreased oven proof pan/dish, spread the mashed potatoes over the top and put it in the oven.
5. Bake for 40/45 minutes. Bring it out and sprinkle the cheese generously on top, put it back into the oven for another 5 minutes. Bring it out and sprinkle tomatoes, bacon and green onions on top. Put back for another 10/15 minutes.
6. Enjoy your meal...
