Lets Cook
1. Peal the potatoes and put in a salted water on heat.
2. Preheat your oven 170c. Melt butter and olive oil in a pan. Stir in the onion and the minced meat. Stir until the meat is no longer pink. Add the vegetables, carrots, mushroom, green, yellow and red pepper, sweet corn and peas, reserve some peas for serving. Add worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Stir in about 2 TBS of flour.
3. Pour in the beef stock and tomatoes paste. Bring to a boil, taste and adjust seasoning.
4. Mash the already boiled potatoes with butter, milk, nutmeg and black pepper (all these is optional you can mash the potatoes like that).
5. Pour the meat sauce in an ovenproof dish, carefully spread the mashed potatoes on the top layer and use a fork to do any design you want on it...lol
6. sprinkle the grated cheese generously on top. Put it in the oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until it starts getting bubbling and brown.
NOTE: The first time i made it i didn't have any cheese and it tasted awesome so if you don't have cheese you can still make yourself a yummy Shepherd pie but i must confess the cheese gives it an indescribable awesome yummilicious taste...lol
