Avocado Dip Sauce

Guacamole is an Avocado Dip Sauce that originated from Mexico and all the requires is ripe avocado, salt and lemon or lime juice, every other ingredients are optional like onions, tomatoes, chilli, garlic, cilantro, e.t.c.
I had my first taste of this delicious Avocado dip sauce with potatoes wedges the other day at a restaurant in Denmark and i said am going to start eating my potatoes with it from that day and i did just that when next i made them at home! Its rich, healthy, yummy and fast! Try it when next you make potatoes and thank me later...Wink

Ingredients
  • avocado
  • lemon or lime juice
  • olive oil (optional)
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • sour cream (optional)

Lets Make It

1. Cut the Avocado in half, remove the seed. Scoop out the avocado from its peel and move to a bowl. Use a fork to mash it roughly, don't allow it to be smooth so you can still have some chunk in it.
2. Squeeze the juice from the fresh lemon or lime into it, the acid in the juice will prevent the avocado from getting brown.
3. Add the sour cream, salt, black pepper and olive oil. Stir until well mixed.
4. And it is ready...if you are not ready to eat it, wrap it up and put in the fridge avoid exposing it to air...Enjoy
