Oven Baked Ginger Honey Chicken

Oven baked chicken is always a delicious treat and always comes out so nice especially when you do it slowly and not with too much heat. The recipe can be used for any chicken part: the wings, drum stick, legs, e.t.c...Feel free to try pout new things and have fun...Wink

Ingredients

  • chicken
  • ginger minced
  • garlic minced (optional)
  • honey
  • black pepper
  • oyster sauce
  • tsp butter (optional)
  • salt

Lets Make It...

1. If you don't have much time you can boil the chicken first before moving it to the oven so cooking time will reduce to less than 25 minutes.
2. If you have time. Mix all the ingredients together, pour in a zip lock bag. Add the chicken. Shake well and but in the fridge over night or for about 4 hours before you start cooking.
3. Turn your oven on to 350c. If you have boiled it before: Mix all the ingredients. Roll the chicken in one after the other. Spread Foil paper in an oven rack. Line the chicken on top the foil.
4. If you did the other step and you let the chicken soak in the marinade. Pour the chicken with the marinade in an oven proof dish covered with foil and close the top of the foil. Put the the oven for about 30 - 45 minutes until the chicken is cooked and marinade dried up. NOTE: Make sure you reserve some marinade to use to brush on the chicken or you can simply make another one. Remove from the oven. Spread Foil on an Oven Rack. Line the chicken on top.
5. Both method are now in same step. Watch the chicken closely so it doesn't burn. Keep brushing more marinade and turning the chicken to its other side, do this for about 20-25 minutes until it has a beautiful golden colour.
6. Your chicken is ready to be enjoyed with fries or rice...Yummmmy

I ate mine with Fries!!!
