Chicken and Potatoes Pie

Hello Foodies, how are y'all doing...Made this super yum yum yum chicken and potatoes pie and decided to share with you...Wanted something different from Shepard Pie and oh boy was i happy i tried this!!! YUM!!! Wink

  • minced or shredded chicken
  • cheese : cheddar
  •               parmesan 
  • butter
  • onions diced
  • peas
  • green pepper diced
  • carrots diced

  • cream
  • flour
  • milk
  • potatoes cut in small chunks 
  • lemon juice
  • chicken stock
  • salt
  • pepper

Lets Cook...
1. Put the potatoes in a pot with water, add salt and allow to cook.
2. Put a pan on heat. Add butter, stir in the onions and then gradually add chicken stock, whisk well.
3. Turn the oven on and pre heat.
4. Pour in cream gradually. When it has reached a consistency. When it comes to a boil. Stir in the chicken, add the carrots, green pepper, peas, and lemon juice. Add salt and pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning.
5. Take the potatoes out of heat. Mash it with milk, cream and black pepper.
6. Pour the chicken mixture into and oven proof dish. Spread the mashed potatoes on top. Generously spread the grated cheese.
7. Put in the oven and bake for 25 minutes or until the top become golden brown.
8. Bring out and allow cool down for about 3 minutes. Serve and enjoy.
